I loved your lesson... but we're hiring someone else.

Imagine having an intense passion for teaching, you feel like you've found your calling, you've pursued and qualified from your teacher training, yet you're still struggling to find a job.

That was me in 2020.

I was filling a lot of job applications for months, schools would shortlist me, invite me for school visits (there are some schools I even visited across different months and they recognised me), but I wasn't even close to securing the job I wanted.

I had created a kind and passionate teacher image. But nobody could see it.

And that's when I realised that if I wanted to get hired, things (particularly my confidence, my ability to sell myself, my ambition and my limiting beliefs) had to change.

Become the teacher people hire

If you're applying for jobs, getting shortlisted isn't enough.

You have to sell yourself and your abilities.

While that's not an easy thing to do, it starts with understanding that everything you think about yourself is either contributing or going against your application.

You are selling yourself even when you're not being observed or answering questions.

Because the truth it, people will buy you before they hear what you have to say.

So how about we build you a positive self-image, before you go and present yourself as a future hire?

IF YOU ARE TIRED OF:

  • Not being able to attract the schools and jobs that suit you and that you deem yourself perfect for

  • Trying to fool yourself into thinking you'll be able to hide your imposter syndrome in your personal statement

  • Generating practise interview answers that feel forced, out of place and disingenuous because you don't believe it yourself

  • Struggling with not being able to stand out from the other candidates

THEN THE EMPOWERMENT WORKBOOK IS FOR YOU.

The JOURNEY to giving yourself a POWERFUL INNER VOICE

Throughout the years, I created multiple different tools and resources to help people with their employability success. One thing I didn't do was to account for the mental barriers that may be present. Now, I've changed that.

This is how you're going to change your narrative and the way you talk to yourself and present yourself:

YOUR ROADMAP OUT OF THE "EMPLOYABILITY FRIENDZONE"

We are about to revolutionise your inner voice through three stages:

These stages will each serve a clear purpose which not only will remove your inner obstacles, but will then result in better representation in your personal statement and performance in interviews.

UNDERSTANDING:

Understand your current position, where you stand in terms of how you view yourself, your beliefs and what you need more or less of.

SETTING:

Let's set your beliefs out on the table and set goals on how we're going to add a first-class touch to your personality so that people see you as the incredible teacher you are.

CHASING:

If you feel like you’re someone else completely different when you write your applications or show up for interviews, this is the part that is most applicable for you. We need to decide on exactly what you want, and through my exercises, you can chase EXACTLY what you want. With your newfound confidence, there are no limitations to what you can achieve!
